Can't stay away from the game.

If you didn't know this about me I have been playing sports science I was four years old. He very first sport I have ever played was baseball. I started at T-ball and just worked my way up to babe Ruth. I was also that kid who  didn't like to play in the in field I have always loved to play the outfield even though the kids weren't strong enough to hit the ball my way, but that would change in years to come and I was ready. Come babe Ruth I was a lock down player you would have to hit the ball over the fence for me not to be able to catch the ball and get you out. Also I ran all over the outfield to catch balls no one would call it so it was fair game and I just made catches all game every game.

I have also ran track when I was younger, and im ready to make an impact this year running track. Also im wrestling for Norton this year I'll see how I do this year and see if want to help the cause next year coach Colemen is an awesome coach so he could really help me out this year. Sadly I am not play basketball this year, but next year if wrestling doesn't workout I'll be ready to get back on the court. As you know I am currently playing football and I am doing good and improving everyday and I looking forward to playing next year. I think sports are amazing and any kid out there should try to get into any kind of sport they want. Even if they don't think they are good enough to play a sport their are rec. leagues every where for them to join and the Y. does sports programs all the time.

THE CURSE IS OVER

We are on a win streak freshman 1 and 2 and JV 1 and 1. On Monday we had a perfect game we did everything right on JV, everyone was where they needed to be. Medfield had a good defense but are offense line was better. Also are defense could not be any better midfield was in scoring position at least eight times are defense stopped them every time all they way to 4th down they just could not get through the holes or go down field. I had a nice run up the middle for 8yrds. Also our other running back Joe Weber had a nice game as well.  Mikey are God, fullback had yet another great game.

WE WON OUR FIRST GAME ON FRESHMEN. The curse has been lifted we played a great game today against Medaway. We scored in the first half then we got a little run down, but coach Gomes lit the fire under us during half time, and we woke up and showed them who they were trying to mess with. I am happy to say I got my very first TD playing football. I ran 35 yards with two guys on my back. I scored the winning touchdown! Probably one of the best days of my life, but the bar is now set higher for all of us to do better, get more touchdowns, and be a lock down defense. We show some serious heart though because we have 17 guys total, other teams have 30 to 40 guys so just because were small doesn't mean we are push overs. An example of David vs. Goliath.

Freshmen Football

I would say the Norton Freshmen  Football team is ready for are game coming up and every game to come. We had a rocky start losing are first game to Middleboro 26 to 7, but we have learned from our mistakes. Everyday before practice the whole freshmen squad is out there on the field before the upperclassmen just going over plays making sure everyone knows what the are doing. I will say I also had a rocky start in my very first game carrying the ball once with a gain of maybe 8 to 10 yards, but that was it for me. I am ready to go though for are next game against Medfield. I have all the plays down I've worked on my blocks. I'd say were all just ready to get that W. Medfield does seem like they will be a good team to face as well we don't have any film on their freshmen team, but we just need to be ready to play are coaches have done everything they can do to prepare us for this game. That means running extra, going harder on scout O. and scout D. and really just don't give up on a play if you get beat in the end zone or you drop a pass just get back in the huddle, and wait for the next play to be called.

Well we lost the final score was 26 to 9. We could not get the fire lit in the first half. Three fumbles two by there starting running back which would be me, and also by the other wing back just not a good day in the back field. Defense seemed to do a good job we were down two by two TDS. we just couldn't get the job done I do take partial blame. We can't let this yet another loss bring us down though. I know we have it in are selves to win games i know this  first hand because I sweat and workout with them side by side everyday. We have a lot to work on, but
